What we collect on this website

The public landing page (this site and the /demo ads address) loads OpenAI's ChatGPT Ads Measurement Pixel so we can tell which ChatGPT ads led to a waitlist request or a booked demo. The signed-in product does not load it. The page does not load session replay or other advertising pixels. Fonts are served from our own site.

• ChatGPT ads measurement: the landing page loads OpenAI's browser SDK from bzrcdn.openai.com and may store a first-party attribution cookie after someone arrives from a ChatGPT ad. We initialize it with a Pixel ID only. We do not send your name, email, phone, store, or other waitlist fields through the pixel. Events we send are a landing page view, a waitlist request, and a booked demo.
• Waitlist requests: your name, role, work email, store name, number of locations, the point-of-sale and ordering channels you pick, the buying problem you tell us matters most, and the campaign tags on the link that brought you here. We store these in our database and may forward them to an internal notification channel so we see them quickly.
• Demo bookings: the Book a demo dialog embeds Calendly. What you enter there goes to Calendly under Calendly's own privacy policy; we receive your name, email, and the time you chose.
• Sign-in: design partners who log in get a session cookie that keeps them signed in. It is not used for tracking.
• Server logs: like most websites, our hosting provider records requests, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.

What we collect in the product

When a store works with us, fina reads the business records needed to build buying plans: purchase orders, invoices, inventory, and sales and transaction data. That can include limited personal data about your vendors and staff, such as names and business contact details. Customer records are included only where you enable them.

We reach that data through the connections you authorize, such as your point of sale, inventory, or ecommerce system, and only to provide and evaluate fina. You stay in control of those accounts and remain responsible for their providers' terms.

How we use it

• To provide and improve fina for your store, and as you reasonably instruct.
• To contact you about the waitlist, the beta, and your account.
• To keep fina secure and working.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for our own separate purposes. We may create aggregated, de-identified data from it, provided it identifies neither your store nor any person, and we will not try to re-identify it.

For personal data your store shares with us, we act as your service provider and processor. Your store is the controller and is responsible for its legal basis to share the data.

We will not send marketing to your customers, or use their personal data for outbound marketing, unless we sign a separate addendum with you that covers the required consents.

Who can see it

• Service providers that host and run fina, such as our hosting, database, email, and scheduling providers, bound by confidentiality and acting on our instructions.
• People on our team and advisors who need it, each bound by written confidentiality at least as protective as our commitments to you.
• Authorities, when the law requires it. We give you notice where we are allowed to.
• A successor, if we merge or sell the business, on the same terms.

Nobody else. We never sell or rent it.

How we protect it

We keep reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the data, including encryption in transit and at rest. If we confirm a breach of your personal data we will tell you without undue delay.

How long we keep it

Waitlist requests are kept while we are deciding on and running the beta. Ask and we delete yours.

When a store's work with us ends, we delete identifiable store data within thirty days. We may keep de-identified, aggregated data, and copies in routine backups age out on their own schedule.

Your choices

Wherever you live, you can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to stop emailing you, by writing to cole@saguarodev.xyz. We do not sell personal data.

fina is built for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes we will post the new version here with a new date. If a change matters to a design partner we email them first.
